Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hop

So here's a confession you probably won't expect from a Romance writer: I (generally) despise romantic movies.

But there is just something about the Christmas ones - you know, the ones that play on the Hallmark channel or to fill time between Elf and Bad Santa - that really get to me. Maybe it's the Holidays making me emotional. Maybe it's that my grandmother - who I credit with my love of books - absolutely ADORES the Hallmark Christmas movies and I love watching them with her, even if she can't see them and can hardly hear them anymore. Whatever it is, I will forgive the sappiest lines, the most trite plots, if it's set against a Christmas backdrop.

And if you ask anyone, I will swear it's the sparkling Christmas lights back-lighting the main characters' kiss that's making my eyes water.

What's your favorite Christmas movie?

A Titan for Christmas, A Sci-Fi Romance Novelette

When Jenna's job as an engineer makes her miss her flight home from the mining colony on Titan, she's heartbroken she won't be able to make it back to Earth in time for Christmas with her family. Until a coworker gives her another option: private cargo pilots sometimes take on passengers.

Grayson pilots the only ship leaving Titan in time to make it back to Earth before Christmas. He doesn't want any passengers, but Jenna convinces him to take her on the three-day trip. Neither of them had planned for the passion that erupts between the two on the tiny cargo ship.

Then Jenna realizes Grayson is transporting extremely dangerous cargo. When she discovers why a man like Grayson would take such a risk, she has to decide whether she'll turn him in or help him.
